Living with fibromyalgia, chronic pain, anxiety, and depression for the last ten plus years has taught me that my body responds to how I eat, think, and move. It is with that reaction I’ve become motivated to be as healthy as I can be in order to successfully manage my symptoms. However, I’ve also learned how overwhelming and frustrating becoming healthy can be. This is where I found that striving for healthy-ish is much more my style in which I can implement small changes a little bit at a time without feeling defeated before I begin. The mission for my blog, Striving for Healthy-ish, is to help you make those small impactful changes to become healthier without breaking the bank, sacrificing your taste buds, or grueling daily trips to the gym.

I enjoy blogging and making the free printables I offer, but there are associated costs such as web hosting services, domain addresses, and more.  These costs are paid through the commission I receive from the ads found throughout the site and the affiliate links I use in my posts.

An affiliate link is used on products that I recommend and would use for myself and/or family.  I receive a small monetary compensation through the product link, but that does not mean any extra costs to you.  Also, I will not recommend products that I would not use for myself or my family, no matter how much commission I could potentially receive.

Please know that I do not write product reviews just for the money.  My opinions are solely mine and are not influenced by the money I may receive from writing a post or product review.  My readers are what make my blog possible and I will always be honest and upfront with my posts, opinions, product reviews, and in everything I share.

Striving for Healthy-ish participates in the following affiliate programs. These programs are designed to provide a means for my site to earn advertising fees by the companies listed throughout the site.

  • Amazon Services LLC Associates Program
  • ShopHer Media
